DIVISION OF INDIAN WORK
Position: Youth Leadership Development Program – Attendance Liaison be@school
General Description: This is a non-exempt full-time position at the Division of Indian Work. The Attendance Liaison will assist school staff at the Anishinabe Academy/Anne Sullivan campus in monitoring the attendance of American Indian students. The staff person will work at school and will adhere to the guidelines set forth by Hennepin County’s be@school program. The Attendance Liaison will be responsible for submitting reports to Hennepin County and the Division of Indian Work.
As an employee of the Division of Indian Work, the Attendance Liaison is directly responsible to the Director of Programs and the Executive Director of the Division of Indian Work, and indirectly accountable to the Division of Indian Work Board of Directors.
In carrying out the mission, goals and policies established by the Division of Indian Work Board of Directors, the Attendance Liaison’s responsibilities are to:
Salary and Benefits
This is a regular, full-time (40 hours per week) non-exempt grade 8 position, which includes vacation, sick leave, pension, and other benefits as provided by the Personnel Policies of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches.
