Aspen Waste Systems is hiring Diesel Mechanics for Aspen’s full-service heavy truck maintenance facility in Minneapolis.
Aspen Waste Systems is a privately-owned, growing company providing waste and recycling collection services for commercial and residential customers in the Minneapolis metropolitan area.
Responsibilities and Duties
Aspen’s mechanics perform necessary repairs and maintenance on Aspen’s fleet to maximize safe and productive operations. This includes performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery. The Mechanic will also complete inspections, diagnose and repair engines, hydraulics, suspension and steering systems, and brake systems.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualified candidates will have experience in diesel engine diagnostics and repair, suspension and steering, air brakes and hydraulics. Previous experience with refuse equipment is a plus.
