The Grants Specialist plays an integral role in the management of grants to member agencies that deliver homeownership services to consumers. This position reports to the Grants Manager and is key to sustaining relationships with sub-grantees. As the primary contact for sub-grantees, the Grants Specialist will coordinate communications and respond to enquiries about grant applications, requirements, reporting, client management systems and performance reviews. Additional duties include assisting with training development and delivery, reporting to funders and customer service.
Successful applicants will possess strong communication, relationship building, organization, time management and technology skills; and have familiarity with budgeting and grant funding. Minimum requirements include high-school graduate with three years of program assistance/coordination experience, some post high-school education preferred. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information and relay to others. Valid Minnesota driver’s license and ability to travel on occasion required.
Full-time, non-exempt. Low $40,000s plus benefits.
