This position reports to the City Manager and has supervisory responsibilities. The position is responsible for all aspects of human resources management within the city, including labor relations, risk management, employee relations, oversight of benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and employee recruitment and retention. The position will also assist with some functions in the City Clerk’s office, which include elections administration, data practices requests, records management and council packet administration.
This position will also oversee other administrative functions based on the experience and aptitude of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be team-oriented with strong communication and analytical abilities.
Regular work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Some night meetings required.
Exempt position with a starting salary range between $75,857 and $81,265 annually, DOQ, with excellent benefits.
