This position provides clerical support and assistance functions for the South Minneapolis Vocational Rehabilitation Services Office so that services can be provided to individuals with disabilities seeking services from the office. In addition, this position will occasionally provide reception resource room coverage.
This position is located in the South Minneapolis office but will also assist in the North Minneaplis office.
JOB DUTIES include:
Accounting/Math skills. Strong skills are needed in this area as this position is responsible for preparing and processing numerous financial documents.
Keyboarding sufficient to create correspondence, enter data in a database.
Customer Service Skills (phone, in person, public presentations) to ensure callers and visitors are greeted with courtesy and respect, appropriate information is given as each situation requires.
English (speaking, writing and reading) sufficient to interact with consumers and employers, and to draft correspondence or complete forms.
Word Processing sufficient to use software to create a variety of documents including letters, reports, memos, spreadsheets,etc.
