SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
LOCATION: SAINT PAUL
REPORTS TO: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing product lines for all Company locations and maintaining inventory levels. They will supervise the purchasing department and ensure internal inventory processes are efficient and effective in supporting the Company’s long-term goals. They will coordinate all activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools and parts for welding, safety and industrial usage. They will also build and maintain strategic relationships with our customers and vendors. This position is responsible for meeting goals set-forth by the Leadership Team and works in accordance with the company core values and culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of industry or purchasing experience. Master’s Degree preferred. Previous inventory management and vendor/customer relationship building experience is required. Prior management experience is desired.
Strong communication skills, management skills, and basic customer service experience is a must. Basic understanding of industry specific inventory is a plus. Proficient computer skills especially in Windows based Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and ERP Software is necessary. Ability to navigate through ERP Software pulling and creating various reports is required. Ability to resolve conflict and personnel matters efficiently. Must be organized, have good reasoning skills, math aptitude and time management skills.
Ability to sit for prolonged period of time with occasional standing, walking, twisting, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, operating hand/arm controls, and pushing/pulling. Occasional lifting of 0-20 pounds is required, may at times lift up to 50 pounds. Reach at, above, and below shoulder level occasionally. Continuous fine manipulation, including grasping and handling. Frequently twist head/neck, talk, and hear. Willingness to travel as necessary between locations and for training or conferences.
