This is a temporary position anticipated to last through 6/30/2018.
This posting may be used to fill two vacancies.
This position provides executive level administrative assistance and support to Property Tax leaders and general administrative support to the entire Division. Responsibilities include:
1) executive administrative assistance;
2) organizing and arranging events;
3) general administrative support to the division; and
4) special projects as assigned.
– Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to produce reports and correspondence in an efficient and accurate manner (40 wpm)
– English skills sufficient to:
– Spreadsheet skills sufficient to maintain data on a spreadsheet, reconcile data, and identify discrepancies.
– Database management skills sufficient to maintain databases.
-Customer service skills sufficient to provide professional and courteous assistance on the phone, in person, and by email to a wide variety of people.
Applicants selected for an interview will be required to demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities by taking a grammar and typing assessment.
Three years of general office experience.
Experience using SharePoint and InfoPath software including posting, editing and organizing materials on internal and external sites.
Experience handling and maintaining confidential information.
Ability to multi task and balance multiple priorities.
Organization and priority-setting skills.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Experience with a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Front Page, Stellent Content Management system, Adobe Acrobat.
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
Prior to an offer of employment, a background check will be conducted. This will include, but is not limited to checking degrees and licensures, criminal history, and tax filing and payment history. All individual income tax filing and payment obligations must be current prior to interviewing for this position.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
